what we do
WHY ART IS IMPORTANT | OUR RESEARCH | DEVELOPMENT
EDUCATION | COMMUNICATION | SPECIAL PROJECTS | TEACHER GUIDES
We showcase children’s Art in a local school Physical Gallery and a global Virtual Gallery at jardingalerie.org website.
Four times a year we hold exhibits in our Virtual Gallery and in our Physical Gallery in New York City. These shows feature children from local schools and arts organizations with input from children all over the world working on the same theme.
The art work of the children around the world is exhibited in the physical gallery in four shows per year based on themes of interest to children everywhere including: 1/ TREES/SECRET GARDEN – Tales of the Land; 2/ MY MOTHER/MY FAMILY – Family Fables; 3/ DAY SKIES/NIGHT SKIES/ANIMALS – Animal Legends; 4/ SEA LIFE – Fish Stories
We host talks from experts on different topics related to children’s growth through Art and aim at educating a broader population of parents and educators.
We conduct research on Art and Child Development as well as Cultural Differences in Children’s Art.
We therefore bring children, parents, and teachers together to inform, demonstrate and educate about Art and celebrate, praise, and encourage all children’s artistic achievements.
